Entrepreneur Development Cell (EDP)
- To create awareness among the students, Entrepreneur Development Cell organize SAC Students Bazaar every year.
- This year, Students Bazaar was conducted on 02-Feb-2019, successfully.
- Students sold food products and handicrafts through stalls thereby exhibiting their skills and talent.
- EDP cell of our college conducts a Training Programme each year to espouse self-employment opportunities.
- Students took good effort to sell the products and through this experience they understand entrepreneurship issues in marketing their products.

Career Oriented Programme (COP)
- A Communicative and Functional English course is conducted as part of the Career Oriented Programme.
- The COP programmes are conducted for all the three years Under Graduate students.
- The students, while pursuing their degree programmes, can opt for these course which will enhance their skills and employment opportunities.

Youth Welfare
- Youth Welfare wing promotes skills and talent of our students by involving them in various activities.
- The SAC FEST 2019 festival started on 07-Jan-2019 and was celebrated for three days ending with the valedictory function.

Centre for Gandhian Studies
To pay tribute to the apostle of peace and the Martyrs who have sacrificed their valuable lives for our motherland, homage was paid on 30-Jan-2019.
Events
- The Centre for Gandhian Studies conducted Elocution and Essay Writing Competitions for school children in and around Pallathur on 30-Jan-2019.

Co-curricular Activities
Every year, several courses are conducted for the I and II year Undergraduate students, after regular class hours (between 3.30 pm and 4.30 pm) for a period of one month.

The Mid-Day Meal Scheme
Nearly 28 students are provided lunch daily through this scheme. The fund for the scheme is contributed by our Management. We were able to accomplish all this through the divine empowered consistent support by our management and the untiring efforts of our former principals with the excellent cooperation of highly dedicated faculty members from the past till date, the non-teaching staff and the students.

Academic Cell for SC/ST
- Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women, Pallathur conducts a SC/ST cell.
- The cell may conduct regular remedial coaching classes on life skills, personality development, writing assignments and making presentations as well as Hindi and local language classes.
- It is also is expected to organize interactive sessions and informal meeting with students to attend to their personal, social and academic issues.

Legal Literacy Club
Our college distributed stationary items to the children of Gandhi Samadharma Padasalai, Pallathur on 07-Sep-2018 to create awareness on World Literacy Day.
Objectives
- To promote consciousness of legal culture
- Spread knowledge of the legal rights and duties and to give legal suggestions to the poor and needy for their various problems

Consumer Club
Our college Consumer Club creates awareness among the students about the consumer rights.
- We demonstrate the method of giving complaints through the Mobile App - Tamilnadu Legal Metrology Tracking System.
- Our volunteers create awareness among their neighbours.
- Consumer day was celebrated on 16-Mar-2019, the Chief Guest, Dr.R.Nageswari, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Economics of our college, gave a lecture on that day.

Red Ribbon Club
Objectives
- Through Red Ribbon Club, youth are encouraged to learn about safe and healthy life styles.
- They are taught how to protect our life from HIV and AIDS.
- HIV stands for Human Immune-deficiency Virus.
- It is the virus that causes Acquired Immune-deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
- AIDS attacks the body’s immune system, making the body vulnerable to many illnesses.
- HIV is spread when the blood, breast milk or semen of an infected person enters an uninfected person’s blood stream through punctures, abrasions or tiny breaks in the skin.
- There is no HIV in an infected person’s sweat, tears, urine or faeces.

National Green Corps (NGC)
Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.
Trees are precious gifts to our life from the nature. Save trees, save life is not only a slogan, it is a responsibility of every individual. To promote this activity our college the NGC Club was introduced with the motto where there is green, there is prosperity.
Objectives
Various eco-activities were implemented by the club members. Some of them are:
- Tree planting and maintaining them
- Volunteering to clean up the school campus
- Providing separate trash cans for biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste
- Conducting various competitions to create awareness of the importance of environmental issues
The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit so.

- NGC has conducted Drawing and Essay Competitions on 02-Aug-2018, on the topics Botanical Garden and Save Environment respectively.
- Tree Planting Programme was conducted in and around the College Campus on Abdul Kalam's Birthday (15-Oct-2018) to create awareness of Environmental Protection.
- Bogi awareness rally was conducted on 11-Jan-2019 to create awareness about ill effects of pollution and tree plantation was also conducted on the same day.

Objectives
- To impart the great teachings of Swami Vivekananda and inculcate the spirit of patriotism, discipline, dignity, intelligence and religious tolerance among the students of the College.
- To put into practice Swami Vivekananda's fundamental educational ideas of imparting life-building, man-making and character-building skills through education.

- The Swami Vivekananda Cadet Corps celebrated the great wandering Monk's birthday on 10-Jan-2019.
- The Chief Guest Mrs.Parimalarani G, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Banking Management, Alagappa Uinversity, Karaikudi delivered a special speech about Swami Vivekananda.
